Therapy Style
My priority is to provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment for my clients to explore their concerns. I have a great deal of respect for the autonomy of my clients, and seek to empower each individual to develop and reach their personal goals. I highly value collaboration with clients and other treating professionals in the development of comprehensive and effective treatment plans. My therapeutic style focuses on helping my clients to identify and understand the causes of their difficulties, with particular emphasis on understanding and improving their relationships with others. I aim to assist my clients in learning how to integrate newfound insight into their daily living and relationships, in order to help create and maintain a greater sense of well-being and life satisfaction. Treatments are tailored to best address the individual concerns, cultural background, and personality of each client.

Experience
I earned my doctoral degree from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and am currently a licensed psychologist in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
I am credentialed with The National Register of Health Service Psychologists and have been granted Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) from the PSYPACT Commission. During my career, I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of individuals in private practice, high school and university settings, a community mental health clinic, and an inpatient psychiatric hospital. My training included an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited internship at The Catholic University of America's Student Counseling Center, and supervised post-doctoral experience at the University of Maryland, Baltimore's Student Counseling Center.
